How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring

  1. Select a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably
  2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimetres
  3. Use the chart below to find your size

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

  1. Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger
  2. Mark where the paper/string overlaps to form a complete circle
  3. Measure the length in millimetres
  4. Divide this number by 3.14 to get the diameter
  5. Use the chart below to find your size

Helpful Tips

  • Measure at the end of the day - Fingers are slightly larger in the evening
  • Temperature matters - Cold fingers are smaller, warm fingers are larger
  • Wider bands fit tighter - Consider going up half a size for bands wider than 6mm
  • Measure multiple times - Take 3-4 measurements to ensure accuracy
